Kinetic and Sport Sciences

Program Description

The Institute of Kinetic and Sport Sciences (ISMMS) at the University of Geneva and the Institute of Sport Sciences and Physical Education (ISSEP) at the University of Lausanne offer a joint Master in Kinetic and Sport Sciences (SMS) under the aegis of the �Triangle Azur� agreement, with the following five specializations:
- TEACHING is offered by the UNIGE and the UNIL; in Geneva, this specialization is composed of 60 credits in SMS and 30 to 60 credits in a second subject
- TEACHING AND PERFORMANCE is jointly offered by the UNIGE and the UNIL
- ADAPTED PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND HEALTH is jointly offered by the UNIGE and the UNIL
- SOCIAL SCIENCES AND SPORTS is offered by the UNIL
- SPORTS MANAGEMENT AND LEISURE will be offered for the first time in the fall of 2009, at the UNIL
The degree comprises three parts:
A. Specific training in kinetic and sport sciences
B. Training offered by others institutes or faculties
C. Thesis (15-30 credits)
