Les Roches

Academics
Les Roches offers undergraduate degrees in hospitality management and graduate degrees in business administration. The undergraduate courses cover all of the leadership skills needed to manage successful restaurants and hotels. By graduation, you’ll have completed three internships for well-known hospitality organizations, gaining some 18-month’s worth of on-the-job experience.

You will also have the opportunity to specialize your study track through electives in entrepreneurship, finance or marketing. All of the classes are taught exclusively in English, as Les Roches attracts students from diverse backgrounds.

Campus Life
Les Roches’ campus is just a few miles outside of Crans-Montna, a popular year-round resort that offers exciting outdoor activities. Students are housed in residence halls, or they can opt into more luxurious units in Les Cheminots or Peter’s Farm. Tuition includes full board at the Marketplace, the Café du Village, the A La Carte restaurant or the lobby bar.

The Café du Village is the social nexus of campus. It regularly hosts quiz nights, dinner parties and other student-led activities that enrich the campus atmosphere. It’s also regularly turned into a discotheque over the weekend.

Faculty & Staff
There are 85 faculty members at Les Roches. Instructors come from a range of backgrounds, but all have impressive experience in the hospitality industry. Classes have anywhere from 25 to 45 students, while faculty and students also meet in the Media Center to research case studies and work on projects.

Le Roches’ craft-based facilities give the faculty a chance to demonstrate hands-on techniques. The practice kitchens are stocked with the kind of equipment found in the best five-star restaurants, while the teaching restaurants serve real customers.

Life after Les Roches
Since its inception in 1983, Les Roches has graduated more than 9,000 students. You’ll be among the planet’s most competitive hospitality professionals backed by one of the top-three hospitality management schools in the world.
