ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences
The ZHAW was created in the autumn of 2007 as a result of the merger between the Zürcher Hochschule Winterthur (ZHW), the Hochschule Wädenswil (HSW), the Hochschule für Angewandte Psychologie Zürich (HAP) and the Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit Zürich (HSSAZ). The ZHAW has campuses in Winterthur, Zurich and Wädenswil. You will encounter the past wherever you go if you take a stroll through the historical, old part of the town: the world-famous bow windows, the historical alleyways with their centuries-old buildings and the magnificent baroque cathedral. The cathedral was built between 1755 and 1767 and lies at the core of the Abbey district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After the Council for Education and Research has submitted its review and upon nomination by the Department of Education, Culture, and Sport, the State Council of the Canton of Wallis accredits post-secondary schools and research institutions (Ruling of the State Council of the Canton of Wallis of February 28, 2007, Exhibit 6). The accreditation is valid for a period of four years (administrative period), and applies also to the determination of the diplomas awarded by the EGSF (point 1 of the ruling). Furthermore, the State Council in its ruling appoints the competent experts and the representatives of the Department of Education, Culture, and Sport to the Foundation Council of the EGS.

After the Council for Education and Research has submitted its review and upon nomination by the Department of Education, Culture, and Sport, the State Council of the Canton of Wallis accredits post-secondary schools and research institutions (Ruling of the State Council of the Canton of Wallis of February 28, 2007, Exhibit 6). The accreditation is valid for a period of four years (administrative period), and applies also to the determination of the diplomas awarded by the EGSF (point 1 of the ruling). Furthermore, the State Council in its ruling appoints the competent experts and the representatives of the Department of Education, Culture, and Sport to the Foundation Council of the EGS.

University of Lugano
Founded in 1996, the Università della Svizzera italiana is a member of the Swiss university system, together with the nine other cantonal universities and the Federal Institutes of Technology in Zurich and Lausanne.
